Luis is a company director with a sharp business acumen. He is an inventive and creative shaper of organisations and processes.
Luis brings unique insight and a broad perspective to Kerr Noll Consultants, having held senior positions in various organisations internationally.
He has over 20 years of experience, mostly spent in the Upstream Oil and Gas industry, where he has worked for exploration & production companies, engineering contractors and consultancies.
Luis is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers. He started his career as a Process Engineer, before he rose through the ranks into project management, general management and, eventually, entrepreneurship.
As a manager, Luis has produced corporate guidelines, processes and procedures for various companies. As an entrepreneur, he has given disruptive, game-changing impulse and direction to various business ventures, which have resulted in their rapid expansion and their success.
His professional exposure and his personal passion for observing people have given him a very unique overview of the workings of organisations and an unparalleled insight into organisational and inter-organisational dynamics. He has had the privilege of empirically identifying what practices yield the best results.
Luis is the author of the book “Avoiding or Overcoming Organisational Inertia”.
He shares his time between several businesses, including Kerr Noll Consultants and Consepsys.
Luis travels a lot for business (120,000 to 160,000 km each year) and he loves to soak in as much learning as he can get from his exposure to a wide variety of continents, countries and cultures. His skill in managing organisations and his track record of successful organisational governance are an asset for Kerr Noll Consultants.
